About Us
About Us
Amanda graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, from the University of Lethbridge in 2020. She became a CTRS shortly thereafter. Amanda graduated from the Lethbridge College in 2009 with her diploma in Therapeutic Recreation- Gerontology, and promptly went to work as a Recreation Therapist. Over the past 11 years, Amanda has worked in a variety of settings and with many people with varying levels of ability. Amanda has worked in Long-Term Care, Supportive Living, Complex Mental Health and Addictions, Post Acute Rehabilitation, Adult Day Program Rehabilitation, Memory Care units, private recreation therapy program planning and family skill building. Amanda is a Professional member of ATRA, and has maintained ATRA membership since 2009.
Amanda specializes in One-to-One recreation and leisure skill building, Motivational Interviewing and takes a strengths based approach to leisure.
Amanda is available over the phone or for video conferencing, through email and for in person therapy
